The cost for replacing an asphalt shingle roof depends mainly on the size of the roof in square feet, pitch of the roof and the height of the house. For smaller homes we can generally give you a quote over the phone. You can also text us pictures of your roof.
Asphalt shingles come in several quality grades. High end, architectural shingles can last up to 50 years in Arizona. Less expensive shingles may need to be replaced after as little as 25 years. Red Bull Roofing has a large stock of tile, shingle and metal roofs. If we don’t have it, we can most likely order roofing materials to match your existing roof. New roofing materials may not appear the same color as older materials, but matching existing roofing tiles or shingles is not a problem.
Tile roofs are usually 3 or more times as expensive as asphalt roofs. There is additional cost in both the materials and labor required to install the roof. But tile roofs require lower maintenance, last longer and may be less prone to leak. All of these benefits add up and should be considered when comparing the cost of tile versus asphalt shingles.
Red Bull Roofing can usually identify the source of a leaky roof through a visual inspection. If there is uncertainty regarding the source we can remove part of the roof to inspect the underlayment for damage or water penetration.
